Southwest Georgia Living comes to Montaluce~

And just in time for a few of the most creative, not to mention delicious, items Chef Austin Rocconi has release from the kitchen at Le Vigne Restaurant of Montaluce!

So, as the wonderful crew from Southwest Georgia Living Magazine were tirelessly collecting information on everything from our Tuscan inspired weekend cottage getaways to our on site organic garden, our chef was enthusiastically preparing what would become, “one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten” -Editor and Photographer of Southwest Georgia Magazine.

What was so special about their visit to Montaluce & Le Vigne Restaurant?  well, it could have been the amazing views…

The view from the patio at lunch!

But we’re willing to bet it was a combination of some of the most incredible mountain and vineyard landscapes in Georgia AND a sample tasting of our new menu!

First the Watermelon Salad – shaved vidalia onion, shropshire blue cheese, chocolate mint, cucumber, watermelon sorbet

Second the Diver Scalllop-Anson Mills farro, cranberry, preserved kumquat, trout roe, baby arugula, lemon emulsion

Third the House Smoked Salmon-whipped goat cheese, pickled okra

For DESSERT, the Maple Creme Caramel-brown sugar ice cream & candied pecan

Between the cuisine, an overnight stay in one of our Tuscan Cottages, and the scenery, Editor Karen Snyder and her crew can’t wait to finish the upcoming issue featuring a spread on Montaluce!!
