This July 28th, 2012, Montaluce & Le Vigne Restaurant will be hosting a ‘Wine Dinner’ in recognition of two, very talented people. Executive Chef, Austin Rocconi, and Wine Maker, Maria Peterson, have teamed up and meticulously created an amazing five course dinner. Each course is beautifully paired with a Montaluce wine.
In addition to the fantastic cuisine, served along-side the perfect wine, guests will be able to meet Maria and Austin throughout dinner service. Each course and wine pairing will be introduced with personal wine tasting notes and detailed ingredient information!
- 1st course – Compressed watermelon, shropshire blue, chocolate mint, vidalia onion, pickled watermelon rind – Montaluce Honey Mead, 2011
- 2nd course – Seared scallop, sea bean, velvet pioppini mushroom, black garlic, brown butter powder – Montaluce Risata, 2010
- 3rd course – Heirloom tomato, artisanal blue cheese, garden basil, balsamic foam – Montaluce Super Georgian, 2011
- 4th course – Pan roasted duck breast, fiddlehead fern, whipped polenta, smoked blueberry, candied garlic jus – Montaluce Centurio, 2010
- 5th course – Vanilla mascarpone panna cotta, lemon sherbet, chilled peach soup, mint oil powder – Montaluce Dolce, 2010

Arrival Time: 6pm-7pm Guests arriving between 6pm & 7pm are invited to start the evening in our tasting room or on a guided tour of the wine production room before dinner.
Dinner seating is at 7pm!
